Double weekend chaos
Guild Wars needs to drop these sucky double weekend events all they do is piss of us players who just suffer drastic lag problems from the constant tinkering withthe program. GW u got us on the game already move on and leave us alone... |

Well that isnt really a question but my answers is,
these weekends let people try new things in guildwars they wouldnt normally do Chest runs/HA/Green farm Etc. and it lets them do it with more success. I also feel it gets Guilds/Friends playing more together, im sure this weekend some guild will be capping together most of today. personally i love these weekends they just need to come up with new ones |

I haven't experienced any more lag than usual. And I think having these weekends is a good thing. I don't think that they need to be done as often as they've been, but it doesn't bother me in the least when one of them pops up that I have no interest in. As a matter of fact, many of these events have gotten me to look at other parts of the game that I've never given more than a quick look-see before.

I had one connection failure on Kamadan (are there now, problem over).
I did notice guild problems earlier today in Lions Arch. But, although I don't participate in the actual events most of the time, I think they are an excelent way to keep the game running. It just gives the players that have progressed most of the game a little help on titles. Or help others with their titles. |

With or without a weekend, step into Kamadan American District 1 in the evening, tell me you aren't lagging ... what doesn't help is Kamadan being the smallest "main" outpost. Sucks when you want to use storage and when you load i takes another 20 minutes for your inventory items to load.
Lots of people + Online game + video card overhaul = FTL And please, don't be one of those "But d00d I gotz one of them 1337 sweet kick azz vid cards that costed like 900$!!!!!1" :P |

Lag will be around whether there's a double weekend or not. Deal with it.
(This coming from a person who plays on 56k dialup and, when confronted with monstrous lag, will simply change districts or outposts. Except when Nightfall started, and the lag in Kamadan was so bad it took successive attempts to *leave* Kamadan without err 7ing...) |
